Description:

Pottery jug in White Painted ware; globular-ovoid body with a short concave neck and trefoil mouth; flat base; trefoil mouth; arching handle from shoulder to rim; cream clay and slip, decorated in black paint: geometric motif below the spout of four triangles arranged around the corners of a concentric square, a single band around the junction of the shoulder and neck, on hanlde, a ladder motif and St. Andrew's cross with two hooks from the base, a pair of eyes on the mouth.
