Description:

Pottery juglet or flask in Bichrome ware; globular body with a flattened base; narrow neck flaring to a trumpet-mouth; arching handle from shoulder to neck; buff-cream clay (many small inclusions) and slip, decorated in black and purple paint: large bull's eye motifs surrounded by concentric circles on the body and base, bands on the neck, including a wide purple one below the rim, ladder pattern on the handle.
