Description:

Pottery jar (amphoriskos) in White Painted ware; wheel-made; globular-biconical body on a low, splaying foot; wide cylindrical neck, slightly concave, with an everted rim; two opposing horizontal handles; orange-buff clay, slightly gritty, and cream slip (mostly eroded, except on the base), decorated in black paint: bands around the body with a frieze of cross-hatched triangles between the handles on both sides, solid foot and handles (hooks descending from below the latter), a single band inside the rim.
