Base Ring Bull Rhyton
Pottery Base Ring II ware bull rhyton; hand-made; lower face forms tubular spout with hole through mouth; large applied pellets for eyes; circular hole for mouth of vessel on shoulder of bull, with basket handle from rim to rear of vessel; small applied ears below horns; applied tail and dewlap (now missing); very faint traces white painted decoration; traces of thin, matt mottled brown slip; fabric medium brown; horns and legs mended, tip of one horn missing.
