Bowls. J.2 Vol II

Stippled pen drawing of a fluted bowl from Idalion with a looped attachment on the left side. — Photograph: Swedish Cyprus Expedition, 1927–31. Medelhavsmuseet, Stockholm, Csn2165. Public domain (CC0).

Description

The bowl is drawn in three-quarter view from above, with a broad flat rim whose far and near edges are jagged and broken. Vertical grooves run down the body from the rim to the base. A looped ring with a knob-like end projects from the left side, and a handwritten "J.2" appears in the lower left corner of the sheet.
