Metal lamps (i.134)

Stippled drawing of a metal lamp with a spout extending to the right — Photograph: Swedish Cyprus Expedition, 1927–31. Medelhavsmuseet, Stockholm, Csn2172. Public domain (CC0).

Description

A stippled ink drawing of a shallow, dish-shaped lamp with a raised rim and a long nozzle extending to the right. The lamp fills most of a cream sheet, with a small number 13 in the upper left corner and a printed label across the top right. Shading is built up from dense dots along the edges and the base, leaving the rim and the inner surface lighter.
