Idalion Acropolis

Description

Walls of stone and earth rise in several levels across the picture, with a rounded wall section and a dark recess in the centre. Loose rubble and fallen masonry lie along the lower edge. Beyond the ruins, a broad flat plain stretches to a distant horizon with a line of trees.
