Idalion Acropolis excavation with rocks and stones

Description
Low stone walls and foundations of rooms cover the top of the Idalion acropolis, built of rough-cut stones and partly collapsed. A flat-topped stone block stands in the foreground beside a deep shadowed gap in the excavated ground. Beyond the ruins, a wide plain stretches toward low hills under a hazy sky.
