Description

A large circular pit is cut into an excavation trench, its walls showing layers of compacted earth and rubble. A rough stone lip projects along the near edge of the pit, and a dark object lies at the left edge of the trench. Pale dry soil with scattered stones surrounds the excavation, and small finds lie in the background.
