Idalion Acropolis

Description
A wall of flat, roughly shaped stones laid in horizontal courses fills most of the frame, its upper part half-hidden under loose earth and rubble. Along the bottom edge, a strip of excavated sandy soil runs across the frame, with a dark gap beneath the lowest stones. The photograph shows the wall face closely with no scale or people in the main view.
