Description

Looking down into an excavated hollow of pale soil, where many pottery vessels lie in place among scattered sherds. Whole and broken jugs, juglets and bowls are clustered around the edges, some with handles, and their shadows show in the crevices. A curved bank of soil forms the rim of the cut along the right side.
