    Introduced in Amsterdam by Bob Fitzgerald as his lawyer; became Michel van Rijn's lawyer too; in the Kanakaria mosaics negotiation with Peg Goldberg he took a 5 percent share of Fitzgerald's and van Rijn's half of the resale proceeds in lieu of fees.

    Flew to Munich to meet Aydin Dikmen (apparently already there a few days earlier on van Rijn's behalf), reported that Dikmen would sell at about half the first price, and was then dispatched to accompany Dikmen and the mosaics to Switzerland for examination in Geneva.

    In discovery produced a secret purchase agreement among the three middlemen showing Dikmen was paid $350,000; his deposition said he himself received $80,000 on the side as compensation. Goldberg testified he assisted her in negotiations although her own lawyer was Ezra Friedlander.
