Life and work
- October 2020Field Director of an archaeological and geophysical survey of a valley south of Pera Orinis that located the Sanctuary of Apollo at Frangissa (excavated in a rescue operation by Max Ohnefalsch-Richter in 1885, then forgotten); director Matthias Recke (Univ. Frankfurt). The survey found a dense scatter of sherds with fragments of sculpture and terracottas; GPR survey with the University of Cyprus under Apostolos Sarris confirmed it. Announced by the Department of Antiquities; supported by the Amricha Foundation, Leipzig.
