Life and work
- 1999Directed, as announced in the CCEC 'Informations' (1999), a multidisciplinary research programme at Potamia-Agios Sozomenos (a medieval Frankish estate and village, aiming to reconstruct a large Frankish domain in the East; long-term study of the site VIIIth-XIXth c.), financed by the French Ministry of Education and Research ('Action Incitative Blanche' 1999) and co-financed by the Ecole française d'Athènes; in collaboration with G. Grivaud, D. Michaelides and A. Nicolaïdès, under a convention linking the École française d'Athènes, the University of Cyprus (Archaeological Research Unit) and the Université de Provence. Fieldwork was to start in summer 2000, planned for at least 8 years.

- 2003The Aix-en-Provence team at Potamia under her direction included the geomorphologist Benoit Devillers, who in 2003 directed deep cuttings that found a Bronze Age urban centre at Kakoskalin near Ayios Sozomenos, beneath metres of alluvium, the missing settlement for the plateau's Bronze Age tombs (Gaber, summarising Devillers, Gaber and Lecuyer 2005).
