Life and work
- 25 November 1885Accompanied Colonel Falkland Warren (Chief Secretary) to Ohnefalsch-Richter's house in Nicosia, where Ohnefalsch-Richter was persuaded to write a declaration that Warren had prior right over Watkins to the excavation site. Given says accounts of the occasion differ but that even Warren's own testimony shows the declaration was obtained.
