Life and work

  1. 15 March 1887
    Rider Haggard's notebook records 'viewings and/or purchases' involving 'Jolly' [sic] on 15 March 1887 (Haggard's first visit to Cyprus); the objects Haggard took out included about 20 pieces of pottery, a bronze bowl and glass (permit 4 April 1887).
