- 20 March 1989Wrote to Donald Bailey (British Museum) that the smaller collection of selenite (gypsum) fragments in the Bibliotheque Nationale 'is part of the same lot from Amathus, for every piece in Paris joins a piece in London': the BM talc imprecations, registered as from Curium, are now believed to be from Amathus.

- c. 1990Hermary (1990) notes that the magical texts inscribed on gypsum and lead plaques said to come from a well at Ayios Tychonas will be treated in detail by Pierre Aupert and David Jordan (citing RDAC 1980, p. 227 provisionally); Hellmann (1991) likewise announces a gypsum execration plaque from Amathus 'to be published by P. Aupert and D. Jordan'.
