Life and work
- 2 October 1878Reported to a police captain that about a fortnight earlier Alessandro Palma di Cesnola had been excavating at Enkomi and that he, Vondiziano, had tried to induce the workmen to stop, telling them it was prohibited; this led to the seizure of finds and the prosecution.
