Life and work
- 13 January 1898Reported to the consultative committee of the Musées nationaux that he had found fragments of Cypriot statuettes in a meadow near the château of one of M. de Maricourt's sons and taken them away with the owner's permission; about thirty figurines of the Maricourt Salt Lake find survive in the Louvre.
