- 1902After a request from the university for duplicates for a teaching collection, A. S. Murray of the British Museum sent a selection of BM excavation duplicates, similar to that sent to Leeds the same year.
- 1965Trial excavation by a Birmingham expedition led by P. S. Gelling and Trevor Watkins at the Late Neolithic to Early Chalcolithic settlement of Philia (Drakos).
