Terracotta figure of horse and rider; hand-made; horseman has large nose and chin and wears a conical cap with ear-flaps; horse has long slender legs and neck, exaggerated mane with noticeable forelock and topknot, and a relief-moulded tassled breast-plate; black, red and purple painted decoration on horse's body; posture of horse suggests a galloping motion; head of rider has been re-attached.
