Description:

Pottery one-handled cup in White Painted ware; wheel-made; deep body with slightly concave sides, incurving lower body, on a raised disc base; plain, slightly everted rim; single loop handle; made of fairly coarse buff clay fired to a similar colour, decorated with matt dark brown paint: roughly applied wavy-line on exterior, plain band around the rim (including interior), paint also on the handle.
