Pottery Monochrome ware jug; hand-made; neck tapering slightly to trefoil mouth with flaring rim with indented squared-off edge; vertical strap handle from rim to shoulder; sharp angle at neck to body join; ovoid body with small concave base; mottled red to brown to black slip, burnished to a low lustre.
