Terracotta jug

Horizontal and vertical circles; strainer in mouth. Cypriot strainer vases probably were influenced by Phoenician examples. They may have been used to strain herb-infused liquids, thus leaving the herbs in the jug. H. 7 3/4 in. (19.7 cm)
