Photograph: Swedish Cyprus Expedition, 1927–31. Medelhavsmuseet, Stockholm, C03903b. Public domain (CC0).

Description

An oval object with a raised rim fills most of a grey photograph, standing on its long axis. Inside the rim, curved and angular incised lines form a design, with a loop shape at the lower right and a band of crosshatched lines across the middle. The print is mounted on a cream card border.

Description, scan 2
An oval object with a raised rim and a smooth face, photographed against a grey background. Several dark, bold signs are cut into its centre, including a looped shape at the top, a curved stroke at the left and a diagonal stroke at the right. The photograph is grainy, so the outlines of the signs are hard to read in detail.
