Description

Seen from above, pottery vessels lie on the floor of an excavated pit at Amathus, where they were found. Among them are a tall jug with a long neck, a flask with a looped handle, several small juglets and bowls, and a cracked round jar at lower right, with open bowls beside it. Loose stones lie along the edges of the floor, and earth walls rise around the cluster.
