Pale stone statue fragments lie scattered along the top of a raised earth bank in an excavated trench at Mersinaki. Several broken pieces are visible, including a large head-like fragment with a broken face at lower right, and some smaller rounded and angular pieces. The vertical cut face of dark soil runs beside them, with shadowed ground around the pale excavated surface.

Description, scan 2
Broken stone statue fragments lie together on a raised earth ledge in an excavated area at Mersinaki. A figure fragment with a head sits at the upper left, with limbs and other pieces nearby, and a large rounded fragment lies at the lower right. The cut edge of the excavation shows a vertical face of soil, and strong sunlight casts deep shadows across the ground.
Description, scan 3
Pale, broken fragments of statues lie in a heap along the top and side of an excavated earth bank at Mersinaki. The pieces include a rounded, head-like form, limb-like sections and a large rounded block near the front, some partly crusted with soil. A flat slab rests on the bank edge, and a few small stones lie on the dark ground of the cutting beside it.
