Tomb 53 at Marion, stones and steps during excavation

Description
A rock-cut excavation cutting, seen from the front, with a flight of steps rising toward a square stone slab set into the back face. Loose stones and rubble lie in the foreground and along the sides, with bare earth and dark soil between them. No people are visible, and the white blotches at the top right look like damage to the print.
