Description

A deep rectangular cutting with vertical earth walls runs away from the camera, its floor stepped down toward a dark tomb opening at the far end. The soil faces show layers of earth and a few stones, and a small pale object lies near the entrance. Beyond the cutting lie a cultivated field, low buildings and trees under a pale sky.

Description, scan 2
A sloping, stepped dromos is cut between two steep earth walls and runs from the foreground down to a dark tomb opening at the far end. The steps are worn smooth, and the cut faces show layers of soil and stones. Beyond the cut, a field of low crops lies under a row of flat-roofed buildings and trees, and two metal buckets stand at the left edge.
