Tomb 29 at Marion, during excavation

Description
A deep excavation cut slopes down through pale and dark soil toward a tomb entrance at the far end, where a cluster of rounded stones fills the opening. Grass grows on the banks, and the sides of the cut show layers of earth and loose stones. A few small stakes stand in the trench floor.
