Description

A rectangular cut in the earth leads down through a flight of rough-hewn stone steps, with the top blocks larger than the lower treads. The sides of the cut are earthen banks with stones and small plants along the edge. A wooden board or tool handle appears at the lower right corner, and dry grass lies on the surface around the cut.
