Tomb 16 at Marion, excavation with objects and stones

Description
A cut in hard earth opens into a dark tomb chamber, with a tall block of earth left standing beside the opening. Sandy, stony ground lies in the foreground. At left, in shadow, a jug with a handle and a rounded jar sit near the wall, and pale fragments lie on a ledge at the top of the cut.
