Stones at Idalion Acropolis during excavation

Description
A vertical face of excavated soil fills most of the frame, banded in darker and lighter layers with many small stones and flecks scattered through it. A pale, rough edge of exposed material runs down the left side, and a lighter band of earth lines the right edge. No people or tools are visible; the view is straight on at the cut face.
