Description

A view down into an excavated trench at Idalion Acropolis, with soil faces on the sides and a darker recess in the back. Large pale stone blocks lie in the foreground and along the left, and a rough stone wall runs down the left side. Several round objects, possibly pottery bases or plates, lie in the soil in the centre and beside a large block.
