Idalion: stones and excavation

Description
A deep excavation cutting with earthen walls shows a cluster of large, pale, rough-surfaced stones stacked in the centre of the pit. Smaller stone fragments lie among the soil around them, and the floor of the cutting is loose dry earth. No people or tools are visible, and the photograph is mounted on a card with a blank lower margin.
