    Re-published a handmade Apennine-culture cup/bowl rim fragment from tomb complex 4+5 at Kition (found by V. Karageorghis in Area I), the only Apennine vessel known from the eastern Mediterranean; he dates it to Italian MBA 3 / LH IIIA2 and suggests an origin in Campania or the Taranto region, as evidence of a southern Italian-Cypriot contact in the 14th century BCE.
