Life and work
- 23 February 1930Wrote a letter describing a Sunday sale in the Cyprus Museum saleroom to some 300 American tourists from the cruise ship Homeric, with about 20 helpers; the sale made 75 pounds 10 shillings in an hour and a half, which she says would let the museum afford some excavating. Flat bowls to be used as ashtrays sold best. Quoted from Green and Henry 2021, p. 139.
