Australian excavator and expedition member, active 1930–1938. Excavated at Aphendrika. Excavated with Eleanor Stewart and Dorothy Evelyn Stewart (née Dray); worked with Judith Dobell and Joan du Plat Taylor.
Life and work
- 1937Spring season: with Eve Dray (Stewart) excavated Hellenistic tombs at Aphendrika, Karpas, with twelve workmen, while Joan du Plat Taylor and Judith Dobell worked at nearby Ayios Philon. They lived together in a two-storey rented house; finds were boxed and sent by truck to Nicosia at the end of the season.
