Archaeologist and excavator, active 1984–2005. Excavated at Kourion, Paphos harbour (Nea Paphos) and Ioni, anchorage of Ayios Kononos. Excavated with Robert L. Hohlfelder; wrote with P. Molinari.

Life and work

  1. 1984–1987
    Took part in the University of Arizona excavations at Kourion (director David Soren); co-authored the RDAC 1988 report with P. Molinari and D. Soren.

    Carried out underwater survey and mapping at Ioni, the anchorage of Ayios Kononos, as an aspect of the Danish Akamas project; architectural elements and a wide variety of ceramics were recorded.

  3. 1991–1992
    Two brief campaigns of underwater survey of Paphos harbour, under the direction of Professor Robert Hohlfelder (Colorado University) and John Leonard: plan of the submerged harbour remains; in 1991 the ancient entrance channel W of the modern harbour mouth was located, in 1992 the E breakwater and the Moulia Rocks were examined.
