Life and work
- 1991–1992Directed, with John Leonard, two brief campaigns of underwater survey and mapping of the ancient harbour of Nea Paphos, urgent because of plans to develop the harbour as a recreational marina. 1991: ancient entrance channel found west of the modern harbour mouth, possibly flanked by two towers; 1992: east breakwater and Moulia Rocks examined; a 199 m wall parallel to the east breakwater and a mound of debris located outside the harbour.
