French draughtsman and scholar, active 1889–1896. Lent to Melchior de Vogüé; studied under Edmond Duthoit.
Life and work
- 1890Published (as Henri Bernard, in parentheses in Foucart-Borville's bibliography) 'Edmond Duthoit, architecte, 1837-1889' (Amiens 1890); p. 14 says Vogüé and Duthoit planned a monograph on Cyprus that was never written.
- c. 1896Asked by Vogüé for Duthoit's Cyprus drawings (for Enlart), he recovered from the family a folder of about 200 drawings and travel sketches, mostly originals, and sent Vogüé the notebooks that seemed to concern Cyprus; these were never returned to the family.
