Life and work
- 1989–1991With Jane Fejfer directed three seasons of survey and excavation of the Danish Akamas Project (University of Aarhus) around the two chapels of Ayios Kononos on the Akamas peninsula, to study a small community in a marginal area and its relation to major centres in the Roman and Early Byzantine periods. Part of a Late Roman building (interpreted as a villa rustica, 4th c., dated by a coin of Constans) was excavated; slag suggests copper working c. A.D. 220-390.
