Cataloguer and archaeologist, active 1971–1981. Excavated at Kourion, Sanctuary of Apollo Hylates. Studied under Darrell Arlynn Amyx; worked with David Soren.
Life and work
- 1971–1974Listed (as 'Mrs. Darice Birge') among the Berkeley seminar students who each described and did preliminary research on a group of objects for Cypriote Antiquities in San Francisco Bay Area Collections (CCA 5); Amyx completed the cataloguing and Karageorghis added the final research and editing. The Lowie Museum of Anthropology gave help throughout.

- 1980Discovered the entrance in the temenos wall of the round building at the Kourion Sanctuary of Apollo Hylates (reported in 1981 as 'découverte par D. Birge en 1980').
