  2. 2003–2009
NamedSummerer (2023) describes his 2003 and 2009 work beneath Panagia tis Kyras as 'undercover research' whose results were 'unauthorized research'; she notes that under the antiquities law of the TRNC any photographic and graphic record for research and publication ought to be approved by the Department of Antiquities and Museums, and that his 2016 article was 'met with no refusal, but rather acceptance' and is often cited. This is Summerer's characterisation; no proceedings are reported.
