History
- 1932The Museums Association's Survey of Empire Museums, financed by the Carnegie Corporation of New York, reported on the museums of Malta, Cyprus and Gibraltar through Alderman Chas. Squire and D. W. Herdman (printed also 'Hermand'). It criticised the Cyprus Museum display as all-inclusive and wearisome ('wearisome rows upon rows of pots identically similar in design'), a spur to Dikaios's re-display decided in 1931 and applied in 1935.
