- 1768Mariti records the death of Timothy Turner, English consul in Cyprus, 'an officer of the Levant Company' who also held a commission from His Britannic Majesty. The Company's consul kept an account of his expenses and forwarded it to the Company.

- 1825The British Levant Company was dissolved in 1825, the year Antonio Vondiziano, merchant and freeman of the Company in Larnaca and British Vice-Consul from 1799, was also named consular agent for Sweden and Norway.
