- 14 February 1928The Metropolitan Museum's president wrote to Mitchell Kennerley, president of the Anderson Galleries, that the Trustees had decided to dispose of Cesnola duplicates by auction in March and April so that other museums and private collectors could obtain them. The letter notes that Myres's catalogue lists 4,426 objects.
- 2017A limestone head from Golgoi (Harvard 2017.167) carries the provenance 'through [Anderson Galleries, New York, 1928] to J. (or G.) Bernard'; Harvard bought it at Christie's in 2017.
