Female head from a votive statuette: A small female head from a votive statuette. The woman is wearing a conical hat or a veil that covers her hair and ears. Only a thin row of hair can be seen on her forehead. She has small eyes and low eye brows. Her lips are thin and in a slight smile. The nose is broken. The head may have belonged to the type of statuette known as kourotrophos ( holding a child ). (Overall: 120 mm x 60 mm) - Made of Limestone Culture: Cypriot
