Description:

Head from a votive statuette: A small male head from a votive statuette. The man has well defined eye lids and low arched eye brows. The lips are thin and smiling. He is wearing a double wreath. The top band of the wreath is made out of laurel leaves. He has short hair with a central parting at the crown of the head and horizontal grooves running across the head. The hair is arranged in vertical grooves at the sides and back of the head. Most of the facial features particularly on the right hand side have significantly eroded. There are traces of red pigment at the back of the hair. (Overall: 120 mm x 85 mm) - Made of Pigment; Limestone Culture: Cypriot
