Description:

Pottery basket-shaped bowl or kalathos in Bichrome ware; wheel-made; cylindrical body with a pronounced flare and everted rim; flat base; pair of small horizontal loop handles; orange-brown fabric with a buff-cream slip; decorated in black and purple brown paint: broad bands on the inside, bands of various width and hatched triangles (in black and purple) on the outside.
